Built for developers
who value their time

Dibiku is an independent, bootstrapped project - built by a solo developer who got tired of slow, bloated database tools.

The story

Every database client I tried felt like it was fighting me - heavy apps eating 1GB of RAM, 10-second startup times, clunky UIs that need a mouse for everything. I wanted something that starts instantly, stays lightweight, and lets me work with my keyboard.

So I built Dibiku. A native desktop app that connects to MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and Redis - with a built-in SSH terminal, multi-tab SQL editor, virtual-scrolled data grid, and 36+ keyboard shortcuts. All in under 80MB of memory.

Principles

Speed is a feature

Under 2 seconds to start. 60fps scrolling through 100K rows. Every interaction should feel instant.

Keyboard first

36+ shortcuts so your hands never leave the keyboard. Cmd+T for new tab, Cmd+Enter to run, Cmd+K to switch databases.

No bloat

~80MB RAM, no bundled browser engine, no telemetry, no account required. Just a tool that does its job.

Secure by design

Credentials stay in your OS keychain. SSH tunnels for remote access. Data masking for sensitive columns. Zero passwords on disk.
